The Vimbai Mutinhiri Episode
Comrades after what may seem like eternity for some ( in actuality it was a few weeks) , your gran’s favourite podcast is back. In our first episode since winning our very unexpected ZIMA award we are back with an incredible interview with one of Zimbabwe’s most famous exports – Miss Vimbai Mutinhiri.
After stalking her down in the mean and harsh streets of Sandton, Philmanaged to speak to Vimbai about how she became one of Africa’s most popular TV hosts. We track her story from her school days at Arundel to gaining her degree in Political Science at UCT. Vimbai also shares how she was once the face of a global Bio Oil campaign before she returned home only to be snubbed in the most painful way at the NAMAs before she made the leap and left home for the bright lights of Johannesburg.
Brand new episode from your 2 favs, Dan & Phil link up to compare in-depth notes from the Grammy Awards. One of the better awards shows in recent memories, and there were so many talking points to get into, from Kendrick Lamar to Beyonce to Tems to Chappel Roan to Sabrina Carpenter... Phil breaks down the drama around the Emilia Perez movie, and as always, there's stories, jokes and opinions. Enjoy!
